The Chase the Northern Wind Story Event that originally ran in Pokémon Masters EX in June last year is making a return to the game today alongside a Double Feature Poké Fair Scout featuring two sync pairs which made their debut together with the original run of the event. Both the event and scout will be available until June 3rd, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Pokémon GO's latest Incense Day event will run this coming weekend on Sunday May 26th, between 11:00am and 5:00pm local time. This Incense Day event will focus on Ferroseed, and a selection of other Grass- and Steel-type Pokémon.

Naganadel, Stakataka, and Blacephalon will each make their Pokémon GO debuts in this week's Ultra Space Wonders event, running from May 23th, at 10:00am to May 28th, at 8:00pm local time. Shiny Mareanie will also be available for the first time in Pokémon GO as part of this event.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are giving players more opportunities to catch certain Version-Exclusive Pokémon this coming weekend, with the Paradox Pokémon Sandy Shocks and Iron Thorns making their first appearance in a 5-star Tera Raid Battle event in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. These raids will be available starting Friday May 24th at midnight (UTC), and will run through until Sunday May 26th at 11:59pm (UTC).

A limited-time distribution of a Quaxly has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. This Pokémon is based off of Dot's Quaxly from Pokémon Horizons: The Series. This distribution will remain available until November 30th.

RPG Limit Break 2024 has begun. This speedrunning marathon is started May 19th, and will run through to May 25th, with runs being a mix of online and on-location live out of the DoubleTree Hotel-Salt Lake City Airport in Utah. Like its predecessors, this year's event will be raising money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). A speedrun of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee is set to feature in the event, which can either be watched from the event's Twitch channel or from their website.

All of these cards will be released in Japan early next month on June 7th as part of the Night Wanderer subset for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Cards from Night Wanderer will be released internationally later this year as part of the recently announced Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable expansion.

Congratulations to Pokémon Horizons for reaching its 50th episode! It’s a special milestone, and as such is celebrated with probably one of the best battle episodes the show has offered to date. I’m amazed that Horizons' animators always manage to outdo themselves whenever it comes to creating amazing episodes. It feels like their highs are always getting one-upped, and this week's episode is no exception. Episode 45 was great, but Episode 50 really takes the cake.

The latest series of Pokémon anime, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, is set to have its Indian premiere in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs from May 25th on Hungama TV, with one episode released each Saturday and Sunday. This marks 10 years of collaboration between the Disney-Star India-owned Hungama TV network and Pokémon since it obtained the rights to the anime and started airing a redubbed production of the anime since May 2014. This will also mark the quickest debut of a new Pokémon anime series in India (406 days from the Japanese release and 78 days from the US release), beating the previous record of Pokémon The Series: XY (569 days and 567 days from the Japanese and US releases).

Next week, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will be receiving an update to Version 1.14.0 ahead of the release of Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade. This update will resolve a number of issues where cards abilities and effects were being applied incorrectly or inconsistently. As usual, the update will be preceded by an 8 hour long maintenance window, which is scheduled to start at 8:00am (PDT) / 3:00pm (UTC) on May 21st.

The next Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Scarlet & Violet Series, Shrouded Fable, has been officially announced in a press release by The Pokémon Company International. This expansion, which launches internationally on August 2nd, is expected to primarily contain cards from the Japanese Night Wanderer subset, which launches there on June 7th, along with an assortment of Japanese promotional cards that have yet to have international release.

The Fruit Pokémon Bounsweet is the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day for May 2024, which is being held this weekend on Sunday May 19th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Bounsweet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with its Shiny variant.
