Continuing on from the recent launch of the new High-Flying Seaside Holiday Story Event in Pokémon Masters EX, the new 5★ Summer-themed Sync Pair of Skyla (Summer 2025) & Jumpluff is making their debut today in a set of Seasonal Scouts.

Quaxly, the Duckling Pokémon, is the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's July 2025 Community Day, which will be held on Sunday, July 20th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Quaxly will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with their Shiny variant.

The Evolution Pokémon Eevee will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's next Community Day Classic event, which despite the name is actually running over two days, this Saturday, July 5th, and Sunday, July 6th. During the event, which will run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time each day, Eevee and its Shiny variant will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

The Victory Road June Challenge #3, an unofficial grassroots tournament featuring high-level trainers preparing for the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, featured 209 players battling for a prize of $710 USD, with 2021 Trainers Cup Finalist Jeongso Lee taking the victory. The Fair-Exclusive 5★ Kabu & Centiskorch are the featured Sync Pair for Monthly Poké Fair Scout Vol. 35 in Pokémon Masters EX. This scout will remain available until July 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT). Teaming up with the pair will unlock Kabu as a Guest for the Trainer's Lodge. This is Kabu & Centiskorch's first ever appearance in the Monthly Poké Fair Scout.

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week for an update of the software to Version 2.1.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, commencing Thursday July 3rd at 4:30am (UTC), and continuing through until 9:00am (UTC). Pokémon GO is celebrating its 9th anniversary this week with a special 9th Anniversary Party event, running from July 1st, at 10:00am to July 6th, at 8:00pm local time. This event will feature the debuts of several new costumed Pokémon, including Ivysaur and Venusaur wearing party hats, and Gimmighoul holding a 9th anniversary coin, as well as the first appearance in Pokémon GO of Shiny Gimmighoul.

A selection of Electric-type Pokémon will be appearing in Mass Outbreaks in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet from later this week, starting Friday July 4th at midnight (UTC), and running through until Sunday July 6th at 11:59pm (UTC).

Details have been released on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in Pokémon GO throughout July.

The Pokémon Company has debuted a new collection of merchandise inspired by the aesthetic of the classic American diner, starring Pikachu on a retro red gingham color scheme. The collection includes some plushes and a variety of accessories that will be available at Pokémon Centers across Japan beginning July 5th. Due to the current maintenance occurring to the Pokémon Center Online, the collection’s availability there will be announced at a later date.

Pokémon UNITE updated to Version 1.19.1.4 at 7:00am (UTC) on June 27th. These updates, dubbed "Full Force Burst [Part 2]" (Japanese: 「フルフォースバースト Part2」), bring balance adjustments for a variety of Pokémon and Items and change to some Maps, alongside bug fixes and Shop and Event updates.

After taking a year off for reorganizing, the European Speedrunner Assembly will be returning on Saturday, June 28th live out of the Quality Hotel View in Malmö, Sweden. The event will feature a week of speedrunning, ending on July 5th, raising money for Alzheimerfonden - the Swedish Alzheimer’s Foundation. This year's event will be returning to a non-stop format for the primary stream after the events in 2024 which had scheduled breaks overnight, although stream 2 will continue to have breaks. A new version of Pokémon Masters EX, Ver. 2.58.0, is now available to download. Together with this update, Tetsuya Iguchi, the game's general producer, has also revealed information on an upcoming Story Event featuring Cynthia and Skyla's new Summer Sync Pairs, and has provided more information on updates coming to the game in July.

Pokémon Sleep's next Good Sleep Day event will run from Thursday July 10th through to Saturday July 12th. Good Sleep Day events are being held in Pokémon Sleep once every lunar month, starting the day before the full moon, and ending the day after. As usual, a Good Sleep Day Bundle will be available from the in-game shop alongside this event.

On June 26th, a literal day before the premiere of the Gotta Catch ’Em All! Game Show on Twitch, the Pokémon Company International has announced the three contestants for the first episode.

After having debuted in the current 2024-25 Asia Championship Series, the Premier Ball Leagues are already being discontinued in the VGC circuit.
