Archaic is the Webmaster of Bulbagarden, having operated the website since 2002. He has been a part of the online Pokémon fandom since 1999.
Outside of Pokémon, Archaic works as a marketing academic and consultant. He has lectured for courses on topics related to consumer behaviour, consumer culture, and marketing ethics. His academic research centers around the exploration of the antecedent factors for consumers' privacy protection and self-disclosure behaviours in social media.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is already running its second Drop Event, with the new Venusaur Drop Event commencing in-game today and running through to December 12th, at 9:59pm (PST). A Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event has launched today in Pokémon TCG Pocket. This new event will run through to November 28th at 5:59am (UTC) / November 27th, at 9:59pm (PST), and offers players the opportunity to more easily acquire various cards of various Fire-type Pokémon, as well as new Flair. The in-game shop has also updated its lineup with a selection of sale bundles for Poké Gold.

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period later this week on Tuesday October 26th for an update of the software to Version 2.2.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, from 4:30am until 9:00am (UTC). The update adds a new relaxing sound for Sleep Research, along with making several minor changes for general quality of life.
