Registeel, Tornadus, and Tapu Bulu
Pokémon Masters EX is throwing down the gauntlet to trainers once more, with the Legendary Gauntlet returning until April 23rd. Players finding themselves without the proper sync pairs to take on the Gauntlet will be able to take advantage of two new Scouts that are launching alongside this event, featuring a variety of Sync Pairs suited to these particular challenges.

Epic Battle Event: Legendary Gauntlet No. 1
3 powerful opponents arrive in Pokémon Masters EX with the return of the Legendary Gauntlet. Functioning the same as past Legendary Gauntlets, players will use the sync pairs they have raised to battle through Registeel, Tornadus, and Tapu Bulu's Legendary Arena battles in succession.

Starting from this Legendary Gauntlet, Special Titles have been added to Prestige Rewards for the Legendary Gauntlet. The titles obtained from each Legendary Gauntlet will only be available for that specific gauntlet, and will not be able to be acquired in future events. For the purposes of these titles, this latest Legendary Gauntlet, while technically the 14th since Legendary Gauntlet events started in late January 2022, will count as event No. 1., with the number being incremented with each iteration of the event. Along with these updates, the layout of the ranking page has also been changed, expanding the number of people displayed from 5,000 to 10,000.

No other changes have been made to the structure of Legendary Gauntlets. As usual, Players can use as many sync pairs as needed to complete these stages and rack up as many wins as possible. Once a sync pair has been taken into battle, however, they can't be used again regardless of the battle's outcome. Players can earn a variety of rewards by hitting certain win streak milestones, including BP Points, Move Candy Coins, a Guaranteed Lucky Cookie 2, and 1★-3★ Deluxe Lucky Cookies. This run of the Legendary Gauntlet will remain available until April 23rd, at 10:59pm (PDT).
  • Registeel is weak to Fighting-type moves, and it has passive skills that reduce the damage it takes when its Defense or Special Defense is raised, as well as moves and passive skills to raise its Defense and Special Defense. Stat changes to Defense and Special Defense have a greater effect on damage output for both allies and opponents, so lowering Registeel's Defense and Special Defense is the recommended strategy. Registeel last appeared in the Legendary Gauntlet held across October last year.
  • Tornadus is weak to Electric-type moves. Normally, Tornadus is resistant to physical damage while on its first HP bar, to special damage while on its second, and all damage while on its third, and it is also protected from critical hits while on the third HP bar. These protections can be negated by inflicting Tornadus with a status condition, although it is immune to all except Paralysis. If paralyzed, Tornadus will use Toxic one time early in the fight; otherwise, it will use Rain Dance instead. It has a chance of curing its paralysis after using a move with Self-Cleanse passive skill. Tornadus resists status changes, such as flinching, confusion, or trapped, with its resistance increasing each time it recovers from one, until it becomes immune. On the very hard difficulty and while on the third HP bar, Tornadus will have the Piercing Gaze passive skill which allows its moves to always hit. Tornadus last appeared in the Legendary Gauntlet held across October last year.
  • Tapu Bulu is weak to Flying-type moves while on its first and third HP bars, and weak to Poison-type moves while on its second. It activates the field effect of Grassy Terrain at the beginning of each HP bar and each time it uses its Sync Move; Grassy Terrain increases the power of Grass-type moves and restores HP when using a Grass-type move. Grassy Terrain can be countered by inflicting Poison or by using "interference" status conditions, such as flinching, confusion, or trapped, although Tapu Bulu will increase its resistance to the latter each time it recovers, until it becomes immune. Tapu Bulu last appeared in the Legendary Gauntlet held across December last year.
5★-Select Type Scout
New Scout Banners

Two new scout banners have started today alongside the launch of the latest Legendary Gauntlet, each providing trainers suitable to take into battle against Pokémon featured in the gauntlet. Both of these scouts will be available until April 16th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

5★-Select Type Scout
In this 5★-Select Type Scout featuring only Fighting-, Electric-, Flying-, and Poison-Type Sync Pairs, players can spend 2,000 paid gems to receive an 11x Scout, as well as an additional bonus selection of a 5★ Sync Pair from the limited pool. This scout can be used up to 3 times during the scouting period.

Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout

5★ Elesa (Classic) & Emolga, 5★ Emma & Crobat, and 5★ Lysandre & Yveltal are returning in this latest Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout. As usual, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 10% chance of appearing in this Poké Fair Scout, with the featured pairs having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. The scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. Each daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

In conjunction with this scout, all three featured pairs are receiving new EX Roles. Players who have already teamed up with these pairs will have their existing sync pairs updated so that this role can be unlocked.
