It's all song and dance in Pokémon GO's upcoming Summer Concert event. Commencing immediately after the end of the Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day, this event will run from 5:00pm to 8:00pm local time each day between Saturday July 19th, and Tuesday July 22nd.

Gigantamax Lapras will be featured in Pokémon GO's latest Max Battle Day this coming Saturday, July 19th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. Lucky Trainers may also encounter Gigantamax Lapras in its Shiny variant during this event.

Expansion launches in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live often come paired with major game updates, and the pair of Black Bolt & White Flare will be no exception. The 1.28.0 update goes live after the maintenance this coming Tuesday July 15th, with the expansions itself becoming available in the game from July 17th.

This month's Wonder Pick Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket brings new Togedemaru and Greedent promo cards to the game's Wonder Pick feature, along with a selection of limited time Gladion and Silvally-themed event items to the in-game shop, including a pair of backgrounds, and a binder cover. This event will run through to July 20th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

The Victory Road July Challenge #1, an unofficial grassroots tournament hosting high-level trainers preparing for the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, featured 286 players battling for a prize of $970 USD, with 2× Thailand National Finalist Narawitch Naenna taking the victory. Pokémon Masters EX is putting a spotlight on Nature Loving Sync Pairs this week with the new Make Waves to the Future Solo Event, which will be running through to July 27th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

With Tanabata ongoing in Japan, Pokémon Café ReMix is holding various events to commemorate both the Japanese Holiday and the 5th Anniversary of the title, with Lechonk returning in its Summer Fun outfit as part of a Team Orders event, where players need to cooperate and complete orders to win special rewards. Additionally, a Special Pass featuring Flareon in its returning Festive outfit is now available for purchase.

As previewed late last week, Pokémon Sleep is celebrating its second anniversary on Sunday July 20th with a special two-week long Second Anniversary Fest event commencing Monday July 14th, at 4:00am local time, running through until Monday July 28th at 3:59am local time. Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, their evolutions, and Plusle and Minun will all be making their Pokémon Sleep debuts as part of this event, as will the game's new Photo Mode.

The next set of special Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be focusing on the Scaly Pokémon Kommo-o, which will be making its first appearance in 7-star Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles between July 11th at midnight (UTC) / 10th at 5:00pm (PDT), and July 13th at 11:59pm (UTC) / 4:59pm (PDT). This will be followed by a second appearance one week later from July 18th at midnight (UTC) / 17th at 5:00pm (PDT), to July 20th at 11:59pm (UTC) / 4:59pm (PDT). Blissey will also be appearing more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles during the second weekend of this event.

Pokémon Masters EX's latest High Score Event, Water and Psychic Conqueror, is launching today alongside 5★-Select Type and Type Exclusive - Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts featuring Sync Pairs useful for challenging the event. Both the event and Scouts will run through to July 15th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Runs of two Pokémon games are scheduled to feature in the Summer Games Done Quick 2025 charity marathon, which is being held live at the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown from July 6th to July 12th. As always with SGDQ, the event will be raising money for Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit and non-government organization that provides humanitarian health care across the world. The marathon can be watched live on the GDQ Twitch channel.

Pokémon UNITE Weekend, which is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, is back again from July 5th at 12:00am (UTC), through to July 6th at 11:59pm (UTC). As with previous months, all Pokémon licenses will be free to use (outside of Ranked matches) over the weekend, along with the ability to earn a large amount of Aeos coins, Aeos energy, and battle points over the weekly limit.

As first announced back in May, the Pokémon: Through the Generations marathon from TheSpeedGamers will commence this coming week on Friday July 11th, running through to July 18th. The event, which is raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, be streamed live on TheSpeedGamers Twitch Channel.

All three forms of the Mimicry Pokémon Tatsugiri will be making their Pokémon GO debut during the Water Festival event, running from Tuesday, July 15th, at 10:00am to Sunday, July 20th, at 8:00pm local time.

Hisuian Lilligant will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's next Raid Day event, which is being held next Saturday, July 12th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

The release date for Latios, the next Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE has been announced — It will be available to play from July 18th. Latios is a Ranged Attacker with Intermediate difficulty and deals Special damage.

The celebration of summer continues in Pokémon Masters EX, with a re-run of last year's Exciting Treasure Hunt Story Event, together with Seasonal Scouts featuring Summer-themed Sync Pairs from the past five years.

Pokémon Café ReMix is celebrating its 5th anniversary, and a variety of events have been ongoing for the special occasion. A new outdoor tea party event featuring Salamence is now available, Plusle and Minun arrive in Pelipper Delivery with brand new outfits, and Espeon appears as a five-star chef in the second part of the update. Torchic is the featured Pokémon of July's Goals.

Pokémon GO's latest Ultra Unlock event, Ultra Unlock: Hisui Celebration, will run next week from Tuesday, July 8th at 10:00am, to Sunday, July 13th, at 8:00pm local time. The Spiteful Fox Pokémon Hisuian Zorua, and its Evolution Hisuian Zoroark, will each make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been out for a month, Play Pokémon have confirmed that players competing at the 2025 Pokémon World Championships in the VGC and UNITE divisions will be able to use the new console. The Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch - OLED Model will all remain eligible for use as well.
