Entei Research event announced for Pokémon Sleep — Event will commence in late May

Entei
Sleep Researchers will soon be getting another opportunity to observe the sleep styles of a Legendary Pokémon, with a new event featuring Entei announced for Pokémon Sleep. This event is set to begin sometime in late May.

Though full details on the event have not yet been revealed, it appears the event will follow a somewhat similar format to the Raikou Research event from earlier this year, with Sleep Researchers collecting samples of Entei Mane left behind during daily sleep research. These Entei Mane samples will then be able to be used in the Event Exchange to purchase a variety of valuable items, including Entei Incense to lure the Pokémon so players can research the sleep styles of this Legendary beast. As with the Raikou Research event before it, this Entei Research event is being crafted with new Sleep Researchers in mind, so even rookies just picking up the game for the first time will have plenty of opportunity to not just research Entei's sleeping styles, but also to befriend the Pokémon and add it to their party.

The event's announcement notes that Fire-type Pokémon will be highly useful for this event, so players are advised to ensure they can find, level, and evolve some Pokémon of these types prior to the start of the event. Fire-type Pokémon currently available in Pokémon Sleep include Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Growlithe, Arcanine, Flareon, Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion.
