Registration for the Pokémon Regional Championships in San Antonio, Texas opens next week on Wednesday October 18th at 7:00pm (CDT)

San Antonio, TX - Deecember 15th-17th, 2023
The Pokémon Regional Championships in San Antonio, Texas for the 2023-2024 season will be held between the 15th and 17th of December at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Centre, with registration opening on RK9 Labs from Wednesday 18th at 7:00pm (CDT) / Thursday October 19th at Midnight (UTC). This event will host tournaments for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Video Games (VGC), and Pokémon GO, with players competing to earn championship points towards qualifying for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii in August 2024.

Antonio Regionals Event T-Shirt
Registration for the event costs $65 USD for Pokémon TCG or VGC, and $50 for Pokémon GO. Available spaces for each game and division are capped at the following numbers:
  • Pokémon TCG:
    • Masters: 1909 competitors
    • Senior & Juniors: 256 competitors total combined
  • Pokémon VCG
    • Masters: 500 competitors
    • Senior & Juniors: 48 competitors total combined
  • Pokémon GO
    • All divisions: 256 competitors total combined
All registrations include Competitor Passes, a Pokémon TCG Promo card and a choice of a Pokémon Hat or TCG Playmat (while stocks last). The tournaments for each of the different games will be held under the following formats:
  • Pokémon TCG: 2023-2024 Standard Format
  • Pokémon VGC: Scarlet & Violet Regulation Set E
  • Pokémon GO: Great League
While competitors will need to submit their Decklists / Teamlists via RK9 Labs prior to the start of the event, these are not required at the time of registration. More information on the deadlines for submitting Decklists / Teamlists will be released closer to the opening of registration.

Spectator Passes will also be available for $20 USD each. Both competitors and spectators will be able to take part in additional side events held throughout the 3 day Regional Championship event, with the first of these side-events starting at 1pm on December on December 15th. Tickets to enter these side events can be purchased on the day at the Regional Championships. Additionally, a limited number of special VIP Packages are also available, which competitors can purchase alongside their tournament registration. These VIP Packages are not available together with Spectator Passes. The contents of these packages are summarised below:
  • Silver VIP Pass - $35 USD + local tax (120 available)
    • Fastpass through the VIP Swag Pickup line
    • Antonio Regionals Event T-Shirt
    • San Antonio Side Event Tickets x 2
  • Gold VIP Pass - $75 USD + local tax (60 available)
    • Fastpass through the VIP Swag Pickup line
    • San Antonio Regionals Collectable Coin
    • Antonio Regionals Event T-Shirt
    • San Antonio Side Event Tickets x 3
  • Platinum VIP Pass - $200 USD + local tax (60 available)
    • Fastpass through the VIP Swag Pickup line
    • Pokémon TCG Booster Box for the latest released set
    • San Antonio Regionals Collectable Coin
    • Antonio Regionals Event T-Shirt
    • San Antonio Side Event Tickets x 4
    • TCG Playmat and Promo Card from a previous Pokémon Regional Championships event
