Diana Pérez, the Mexican voice actor who played Jessie for more than 20 years in the Latin American Spanish dub of the Pokémon Anime, passed away last week at the age of 51 after being hospitalized for kidney failure. Diana had also been the dubbing director for the series since Pokémon the Series: XY.
A new trailer uploaded to the official Pocket Monsters anime Twitter account has revealed several new and returning characters and Pokémon who will be appearing in upcoming episodes of Pocket Monsters. This week, The Pokémon Company announced has announced that they will be broadcasting new content on a regular weekly schedule on the official Pokémon Twitch channel, with content including Pokémon anime episodes and movies, as well as (re)broadcasts of Play! Pokémon tournaments. The schedule for each week will be announced on the official Pokémon Twitter account. In the past, the official Pokémon Twitch channel has been used primarily to broadcast Play! Pokémon organized events, while the anime has appeared as part of a number of Twitch Presents marathons. Moving forward, it's likely we'll see a broad range of content from TPC's back catalog being broadcast.
