8th volumes of Bandai's Ringcolle! and Gemries Pokémon gashapon collections revealed, both releasing in Japan in the second week of August

Gashapon JP, a distributor of gashapon machines and capsule toys in Japan, have revealed more of this month's gashapon lines, including the 8th volumes of Bandai's Ringcolle! and Gemries (ジェムリーズ, Jemurīzu) Pokémon gashapon collections. Both lines will launch in Japan in the second week of August, with each gashapon spin costing ¥400 (~$2.68 USD).

The Ringcolle collection of gashapon features rings with character ornaments on top of them. Water-Type Pokémon take center stage for Pokémon Ring Vol. 8, with rings of Quaxly, Slowpoke, Spheal and Wugtrio. More information (in Japanese) can be found on the official product page.

The Gemries collection of gashapon features small decorative dishes topped with a character figure, which are intended to hold jewelry or other small items. Gemries Pokémon 8 appears to be intended as a collaboration with Pokémon Horizons, focusing on Pokémon belonging to members of the Rising Volt Tacklers such as Captain Pikachu, Liko's Hatenna, Ludlow's Quagsire, and the wild Snorunt that can usually be found in the fridge aboard the Brave Olivine. Also releasing in the same week are the very first set of Pokémon Light Brace (ライトブレス, raitoburesu), as part of the #Pokémon after school collection. Light Brace are bracelets in the shape of a wristwatch with a character emblem in the place of an actual clock, which light up with 7 colors of LEDs at the push of the button. The characters featured in this debut Pokémon collection include Pikachu, Ditto, Snorlax, and Tangela. Each spin of this gashapon will cost ¥300 (~$2.68 USD).
