Shiny Eternatus codes to be distributed in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong

The distribution of code cards to redeem Shiny Eternatus in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield that were previously announced for several countries has now also been announced to be distributed in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

In Taiwan and Hong Kong, the code cards will be distributed from October 18th, while it will distribute from October 21st in Japan. Both will distribute them until November 17th. No purchase will be required for players to receive these code cards, however supplies are limited and will only be available while stocks last. Each person can only receive one code card, and each code can only be used once. The codes will expire on November 24th in Japan only.

The codes will be distributed at the following stores:

• Taiwan: Carrefour stores
• Hong Kong: Game retailers, AMAZ by Lokianno
• Japan: Game retailers and the Pokémon Center nationwide

In Taiwan, players can receive the code at the Audio and TV section in Carrefour Department Stores, and from the cashier in Carrefour supermarkets. In Japan, players are required to show their Nintendo Switch system with a Pokémon Sword or a Pokémon Shield game icon to the store staff.

1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
2. Select Mystery Gift on the X menu.
3. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
4. Select Get with Code/Password
5. Enter your code and select OK.
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game.
7. Be sure to save your game.
