- Pokémon UNITE is now confirmed to be included as part of the Pokémon World Championships, beginning from this year. Teams will battle in a competitive season to qualify for the championship. More details on how Pokémon UNITE will be incorporated into these championships will be announced soon.
- A new tournament mode for Pokémon UNITE is currently under development. This mode is intended to give players an even playing field, to support competitive play such as the Championship series for World Championship qualification. In particular, the letter singles out held item grades as something that this mode would specifically even out.
- Support for Bahasa Indonesia, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Russian, Thai, and Turkish languages will be added to Pokémon UNITE over the next few months. Localizations for additional languages are also in development.
