Pokémon Sword and Shield - Tiny Tourney online competition open for registration

Registration for the new Tiny Tourney Online Competition in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield has started, and will remain open until December 9, 2021, at 3:59 p.m. PST. The competition itself will then run from December 9, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. PST until December 12, 2021, at 3:59 p.m. PST.

The competition will be conducted as a Double Battles format. Check in-game for more rules for the competition. Trainers who participate in at least one Battle, regardless of whether they win or lose, will earn 50 Battle Points.

Pokémon in Battle Teams must have either the Galar or battle-ready symbol. To be eligible for the Tiny Tourney, Pokémon must also be no taller than three feet, three inches, and must be unevolved but able to evolve. The full list of eligible Pokémon is included below.

To register for the competition, follow these steps:

1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Open the X menu.
3. Select VS.
4. Select Battle Stadium.
5. Select Online Competitions.
6. Select Search Official Competitions.

To view your rankings after the competition has ended, follow these steps:

1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Open the X menu.
3. Select VS.
4. Select Battle Stadium.
5. Select Online Competitions.
6. Select Search Official Competitions.

To receive your participation gift after the competition, follow these steps:

1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Open the X menu.
3. Select Mystery Gift.
4. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
5. Select Get Battle Stadium Rewards.
