Pokémon Trading Card Game 25th Anniversary Commemorative Event to be held in Taiwan

The official Pokémon TCG Taiwanese website has announced that a series of live events will be held in Taiwan starting this month to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The events will include displays showcasing a range of cards from both past and current Eras on the game. There will also be a pop-up store selling Pokémon merchandise, a Pokémon Meet-and-Greet, and attendees will get to try out the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl for the first time. All attendees will also receive a copy of a _____'s Pikachu card, while supplies last.

Attendees will also be able to enter into a number of competitions at each event, to earn points to exchange for prizes. These competitions include:

• Standard format Tournament
• Tapu Lele Commemorative Tournament
• Doubles Tournament
• Kids Tournament
• University Students Tournament
• Workers Tournament
• 25th Anniversary Tournament
• New Player Tournament
• Girls Tournament

All attendees will be required to have their temperature taken and to apply hand sanitizer.

The events will be held between November and February at the following department store locations:

• 11 November 2021 to November 29 2021: Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Xinyi Store A9 Level 9 (台北信義新天地A9 9樓)
• 17 December 2021 to 2 January 2022: Plaza in front of Fayaque Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Store Level 9 (新光三越台中中港店 9樓法雅客前廣場)
• 27 January 2022 to 13 February 2022: Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Tainan Ximen Store Level 5 Area B plaza (新光三越台南新天地 5樓B區活動廣場)
