In a message posted to their official Twitter account, DuArt, who had been involved in dubbing the Pokémon anime for 13 years, have announced that they will be ceasing all of its media services operations. Moving forward, the company will continue to rent out office space in its historic DuArt building in New York City to media companies working on production products.

DuArt originally dubbed the short film Pikachu's Island Adventure in 2007, and began handling the anime series full time starting with The Rise of Darkrai, and the 53rd episode of the Diamond and Pearl arc of the anime, Tears for Fears!. Starting with Pokémon the Series: XYZ, DuArt Media Services was also the dub producer in Mexico, working in cooperation with Jarpa Studio. They also worked with MG Studios in Brazil until Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon - Ultra Legends. Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon was the last series dubbed at the studio, the last episode being Thank You, Alola! The Journey Continues!, with their successor being Iyuno Media Group and Goldcrest Post.

DuArt were also involved in dubbing Pokémon games on the Nintendo Wii, with work on PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure and PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond.
